The technical properties are usually set in such a way that the operation of the vehicles is guaranteed and the manufacturer's requirements are satisfied. In consideration of the vehicles service life, additional requirements can be derived.
The requirements vary depending on the area of application. For this case, Lubrication behavior can be influenced in different direction. This can be achieved through specific additives.
The vehicle manufacturers help themselves through recommendations regarding special maintenance intervals apply to wearing parts (e.g. for changing the toothed belt, spark / glow plugs, engine oil, etc.). Apparently, this suggests to the consumer that he has been thoroughly informed and instructed.
If the engine or other cost-intensive vehicle components are damaged prematurely, the consumer is left to fend for himself and has to accept expensive repair costs.

During vehicle operation, friction occurs between the moving engine parts, which causes wear particles. In combination with combustion residues and other soiling, these tend to deposit. The efficiency decreases and the risk of engine failure increases.
